Polls!

In honor of Halloween and the fact that I'm a very curious sort, please check out the polls that I will be adding to the right sidebars.

Currently, I want to know who you think is the reigning master of horror writing.  Not just necessarily in sales but who can write the stories that force you to check the locks on the doors and windows and make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.  I'm talking chills!!

I've put forth 9 names but if you have a suggestion of your own, feel free to drop me a comment and let me know who and why.

Definitely Stephen King. While I love Bentley Little, his works haven't consistently brought the sheer terror that Stephen King's have.

Goood question. I never read horror though. I'm a total chicken butt.

Jennifer, I agree with Stephen King. His stories are SCARY - -and make much better books, in my opinion, than movies. I guess because our imaginations are so much more vivid than filmmaker's can deliver!

Juju, I love horror. Although I am definitely one of those check and double check the doors and windows gals (and set the alarm and jump every time I hear the slightest noise).
